Window Tint

Window tinting is a thin film applied to the interior of a vehicle's windows to darken them and block UV light. It can also reduce glare from the sun and headlights, and improve a driver's vision.

Window tinting can also provide other benefits, such as: Heat reduction Window tint can reduce the heat inside a vehicle by up to 70%, making it more comfortable for passengers and reducing the load on the AC unit.

UV protection

Window tint can block 99% of harmful UVA and UVB rays, protecting passengers from sunburn, premature aging, and skin cancer. It can also protect the interior surfaces of the vehicle, keeping it looking newer for longer.

Privacy and security

Window tint can enhance privacy and reduce the chance of theft by making valuables less visible.

Shattered glass

Window tint can hold shattered glass together during an accident, protecting passengers from injury.

Empress Tint is available in a variety of materials and shades, including dyed, carbon and ceramic. Each level of tint has different advantages:

M2 - Dyed Tint

The most affordable and common type of window tint, made from several layers of dyed film that absorb sunlight. However, it doesn't offer the same level of UV protection as other types of tint. Dyed films are more prone to turning purple and fade over time so it offers a 1 year warranty. Due to the many downfalls of dyed films Empress Tint no longer offers this level of film.

M3 - Carbon Tint

This is an excellent upgrade over traditional dyed films. Carbon offers better color stability so you never have to worry about it turning purple or fading over time. As well it offers Lifetime Warranty with better UV protection than your standard dyed films.

M4 - Standard Ceramic Tint

Made from small ceramic particles that are non-conductive, so it doesn't reduce electronic transmissions from devices like cell phones and Wi-Fi. It can block up to 50% of solar heat without reducing visibility, and it's also shatter resistant.

M5 - Premium Ceramic Tint

This is the highest level of ceramic film offering all the advantages of a standard ceramic film with a higher level of solar heat block for a more comfortable ride while protecting your vehicles interior.

When choosing a window tint, you can consider things like your budget and what you want to achieve. For example, if you want to keep your car from overheating, you might only need to tint the windshield and front windows. If you're on a budget, you can save up for a higher quality product, or you can tint one or two windows at a time.
